DataEase 6.53 ("Legeasy')on Windows 8.1 & Windows server 2012 R2

Two rather critical problems have been found with Legeasy (6.53) on Windows 8.1 & Windows server 2012 R2

- Execute CDF + chained Action statements do not work

- OLEDB connect to external DB does not work.

Has anyone managed to sort these issues for DataEase 6.53 ("Legeasy') on Windows 8.1 or Windows server 2012 R2?

Any ideas on how to sort this? (Compatibility modes do not seem to help)
