Scroll Bar

Moves hidden parts of a document or window into view. Scroll bars appear on the bottom and right side of some DataEase windows and dialogs.

The vertical scroll bar moves the document up and down. The horizontal scroll bar moves the document left and right.

DataEase allows designers control over the way Scroll Bars are displayed in documents. Open Document Properties and you will see that Scroll Bars are controlled by three options - "Auto", "Always" and "Never".

Auto

In this option, scroll bars are automatically displayed if (and only if) the document extends beyond the limits of the screen area.

Always

forces DataEase to display scroll bars on the document, regardless of the document's size.

Never

forces DataEase to suppress scroll bars on this document.

You can also decide whether to force or hide scrollbars in a SubForm. Open the Subform Layout and select either "Never Hide", to force the scrollbar to always be shown, or untick the Add Scrollbar option, to force scrollbars never to appear on the subform.
