How to Decrypt/Encrypt a Users Record

1. Choose Application>>Preferences and uncheck Encrypt User file.

2. Choose Application>>Users.

3. Display the first record and select Save from the Toolbar. DataEase does not encrypt the modified record, since the encryption feature has been turned off.

4. Repeat step 3 for each record in the file.

5. To reencrypt the file, check Encrypt User file and use steps 2 and 3 above.
