Purpose

The / symbol tells DataEase to divide Value 1 by Value 2

The result is the quotient of the division.

Syntax

VALUE 1 / VALUE 2

Returns

A numeric value.

Usage

When typing a fraction (10 / 12, for example), DataEase requires that you type a space before and after the / symbol.
